PSE Bow Madness
New for 2009 from a company who has reformed themselves the past couple years is the Bow Madness single cam bow from PSE. The Bow Madness was created with and named after the popular hunting show with the same name featuring the Drury Brothers. At first glance, this is a very good looking bow with its unique, highly preloaded limbs, and popular Mossy Oak Treestand camo. Let’s take a look at a few of the features that make the Bow Madness a great mid price point bow.
The preloaded limbs along with the Madness cam give this bow plenty of speed and smoothness. The Madness cam features modular adjustments from 25”-30” which makes this bow very easy to adjust the draw length without a bow press. Also available in 65% or 80% let-off, and draw weights of 50, 60, or 70 pounds, this bow can accommodate many different archers. The new pivoting split limb pockets are a great feature that add to the smoothness and the Biomechanically Ergonomic Slim Throat grip helps to prevent bow torque.
The PSE Bow Madness has a 7” brace height and measures 32” axle to axle which makes the Bow Madness a very forgiving bow to shoot. Combine it’s smoothness with IBO speeds of 326 fps and you have a bow that is hard to beat!
The Bow Madness is also available in a Ready to Shoot package which includes an Orion sight, Mongoose quiver, Whisker Biscuit arrow rest, peep sight and nocking loop. The bow comes completely tuned, rough sited in at 20 yards, and ready to take to the timber.
