Is something wrong with my compound bow?

i have a brand new bear lights out..i dont have the trigger so ive been finger firing. if i try to hold the string by my face, its accurate, but the string misses the stopper when i fire. every single time. if i try looking basically behind the string(not holding it up to my cheek), its inaccurate, but at least the string catches in the stopper. its really starting to make me mad. also the threading beneath the trigger loop came unwound. also the string is already fraying...?
ha this was already happening before i accidentally dry fired it..it was ordered off ebay btw
by trigger loop i mean the loop on the string that u attach the trigger to...no i dont have a trigger but correct me if im wrong, all bows have the loop that u attach said trigger to..hence trigger loop.

Relax,
Examine the limbs for cracks or stress fissures.
Next, get it to a good archery pro-shop, not a big box sporting goods store (ie. gander mountain, cabela's, bass pro shops. Reason why is because none of them are members of the Archery Merchant/Manufactures Organization.and their repair staff is not all that knowledgeable or experienced) Get the strings and cables replaced.

Now I hate to say this but a lot of newer bows are not designed to be used with fingers. so don't let it get to you. I like the Winn Release but that is me, and I have seen them on eBay from time to time. Now you will spend a good $50.00 for a good release you can go cheaper for now, but see if the shop, after you bow is gone over, See if they have some releases to try out. A good shop will take one out of the package for you if all of demo's just don't work for ya.
